On July 21, the Brothers of Psi Alpha Alpha partnered with Supervisor Storck’s Mount Vernon District office to support the Saturday, August 1 Back to School Community Day at the Lorton Community Center, donating 25 book bags filled with school supplies. Psi Alpha Alpha Vice Basileus Brother James Cherry, joined by Social Action Committee members Phil Benjamin, Ken Younger, and K.C. Jones, delivered 25 book bags packed with notebooks, calculators, paper, pens, pencils, highlighters, and more — helping local students start the year off right. The August 1 event will also feature free food, music, games, health screenings, and vendors. Cassidy Donaghy and Cynthia Rosales of Supervisor Storck’s office received the donation on behalf of the district, thanking the Chapter for a partnership they called vital to the community’s success.
